Our Institute draws strength from the vision of our Founder, Servant of God Rt. Rev. Henri Fortunat Caumont O.F.M. Cap., who reminded us that “A Mission Sister must necessarily be imbued with a missionary zeal.” This vision encourages us to serve God and his people with dedication and commitment.
Inspired by the spirit of our Patron, St. Francis of Assisi, we strive to live the Gospel in simplicity, humility, and love. This Franciscan spirit guides our life and calls us to walk with people, especially those who are poor and in need.
Sharing in Christ’s Redeeming Mission, we seek to uphold the dignity of every person. In a special way, we are committed to the empowerment of women, the promotion of education, and the compassionate service of those who are marginalized.
The vision of our Founder finds a beautiful echo in Pope Leo XIV’s Dilexi Te, “Love the poor, serve the Lord.” These words inspire us to recognize the presence of Christ in the vulnerable and the forgotten, and to respond with generosity and love.
